Thousand Oaks High School Baseball

Greetings Lancer Baseball Fan,

Just imagine what a “Field of Dreams” looks like. A laser leveled infield and newly laid sod; turf on the apron; raised roofs on the dugouts with newly installed seating and water fountains; a beautified area around new metal bleachers; a renovated snack shack; raised perimeter fencing; a redesigned Home bullpen; concrete paths leading from the clubhouse to field; extended netting from existing backstops; fresh new exterior painting everywhere; covered batting cages and a refurbished clubhouse.

Right now our field is in good condition, but it could be so much better. Instead of funding the repair of old lawn mowers, we would like to focus on more important issues. We vote for major improvements. How about you?

If you own a business or know someone who does, we have found a way to raise money for our very own - “Field of Dreams” WITHOUT anyone having to take out their checkbooks. Money that businesses are already spending will get re-directed to TOHS baseball.

Without a doubt fund raising in youth sports today is as important as any other ingredient behind team success. It takes funding to run the baseball program, repair and maintain baseball fields, hire coaching staffs, buy quality equipment and uniforms, hire umpires and pay for year round league costs. Usually, it has been the parents who have picked up the tab, but times are changing!

In order for transformations or major changes to occur, successful fundraisers must happen. There are several traditional fundraising ideas for baseball leagues to try, and new ideas crop up every year to maximize profits.
One that we are excited to share with you is: Charitable Gifting through Merchant Services (CGMS).

Bridgepoint Pacific Group LAUNCHES CGMS PROGRAM BENEFITTING THOUSAND OAKS HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

Every time a business accepts a credit card from a customer; a sales representative gets paid a commission. In most cases this commission is 50% of net fees. Bridgepoint Pacific Group's Charitable Gifting through Merchant Services (CGMS) program will match your company current credit card rates and fees penny for penny- but re-direct the funds that are generally paid as a commission every month to Thousand Oaks High School Baseball. This passive donation to TOHS Baseball will continue as long as you continue to process your credit cards with Bridgepoint Pacific Group. It's that simple.

Seriously, the field is in need of a major face lift. We are counting on supportive members like you to help us reach our goal. Can you help us? The TOHS baseball program provides our youth with the opportunity to develop both physically and mentally as they compete as a team. Our baseball program requires good sportsmanship, solid academics and a charitable attitude from all of our players - just like it was when you were here. Our goal is to continue growing a quality athletic program here in Thousand Oaks that our community can support and be proud of!
