Alex Birgel is a quality player who will share time in the outfield.The Lancers have two starting outfielders Peddicord and Johnson who will log alot of innings on the mound this year which will open a spot for Birgel. The Lancer coaching staff anticipates Alex will see playing time. Birgel is an outstanding student and is the future center fielder for the ball club in 2008.
