Chad Smith returns to the Lancer ball club for his third varsity season. Chad had an outstanding 2006 season shutting down hitters as the Lancers closer. An excellent student, Smith will play for any college of choice in 2009. Smith has an above average fastball with a tough disposition on the mound.He will be used in many roles this season as a starter and reliever. Look for Chad to be one of the top pitching prospect in the country this season.
