Daniel Payne is returning to the varsity baseball program for his second season at first base. A solid defensive player with great instincts on the field. Daniel will play very hard and always puts his team before himself. If a ball comes in his area, it will get caught if it stays in fair ground. Payne was selected last season as the Lancers most improved player. He started for the lancers last season and will share time at first base with Jeff Johnson and Tom Hocutt.
