Tyler Smith is the only sophomore to make the Lancers veteran team. He led the 2006 JV team as a freshman hitting over .420 for the season. Tyler will start for the Lancers this season filling in as a capable utility player. Smith is the future shortstop and will be taking over the job in 2008 for all-league selection and three year starter Collin LaVoie.
